Ground in Gravity

In our first retreat session, Jess gently guides us back into connection with the earth beneath us. Set on the tranquil shores of Gili Meno, this practice is an invitation to slow down, soften, and feel gravity as a teacher.

Through mindful micro-movements — rolling knees, pendulating arms, gentle head circles — we explore the points of contact where the body meets the ground. Each breath and movement is an opportunity to release tension, calm the nervous system, and discover ease in the simplest of gestures.

This session reminds us that we don’t need to push or strive — by surrendering to the earth’s steady support, we find grounding, presence, and a quiet sense of belonging. The practice closes in reflection, honouring the subtle shifts within body and mind, and carrying this calm forward into the rest of our day.
