Expanding Our Luxe Knitwear Fam
This season, we're trialing the use of recycled ocean waste nylon, allowing us to create chunky yet lightweight knits. This is new for us. We've always avoided using nylon, especially in our sportswear, due to its need for high-frequency washing and potential microplastic shedding into waterways but we think it could be an interesting solution for outerwear which doesn't need to be washed more than once or twice a season. The resulting knits are chunky yet lightweight with the added feature of increased durability. Its an experiment and we're keen to hear your experiences and feedback WE-AR Fam so please, try them out and let us know your thoughts.

Good to know: the recycled nylon is sourced from InResST® who works directly with fishermen, to gather discarded fishing gear, including 'ghost fishing nets' which poses significant ecological threats in our oceans.

Caring for Your Luxe Knitwear
To ensure your knitwear lasts, here are some care tips:

  • Hand Wash Only: Use cold water and a gentle detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric.
  • Dry Flat: Lay your garment flat on a towel to dry. This helps maintain its shape and softness.
  • Store Carefully: Store your knitwear folded in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging, as it can stretch the fabric.
