this morning the WE'AR team made their way down to Britomart Country Club for the Fairtrade Breakfast supported by Oxfam, a sustainable event to kick off Fairtrade Fortnight... it was a crisp but beautiful sunny morning to enjoy some fair trade goodies and support our peers in the industry committed to fair trade for all!

mmm enjoying our breakfast treats and warm drinks on a chilly Autumnal morning... although the unlimited hot chocolate proved to be a little too tempting!
there was a great turnout to the event, and although we missed emcee Te Radar, we were delighted to be greeted with a solid gift bag with a copy of Good magazine, Cadbury's chocolate and more! enjoying a delicious breakfast of bircher muesli, bananas care of All Good Bananas and over indulging in many a hot chocolate from kokako (all delivered in a handy recyclable tray) was the perfect way to start a fortnight of fair trade discussion and events.
we were happy to see some friends of WE'AR like the lovely ladies from Gather & Hunt and Rebekah from Good Magazine, as well as representatives from the Auckland City Council and the Sustainable Business Network... WE'AR proud to support events like these for bringing attention to fair trade practice, and with such an awesome turnout we are sure to see some positive action toward making Auckland a Fair Trade City...
