WE'AR super excited to present for a Sunday Midday delight:
Patience Scarles - November 13th
Patience is an upcoming singer/songwriter from Waiheke Island. Originally from the brash lights of Blackpool,England; her quirky Kiwi-British accent and strong soulful voice make for an unforgettable sound. She has been compared to Gin Wigmore and British band The Kooks. With her dulcet tones and indie-pop-rock acoustic sound, she effortlessly woos the crowd.
Jaz Caitcheon - November 20th
Having grown up on Waiheke, Jaz is currently a student with a passion for jamming and fresh air. Inspiration from Andre 3000 and Dylan Frost clearly run through his music that encompasses both original and covers. He frequently performs live and also mixes it up with psychedelic reggae styles on his weekly radio show.
Nikki Ngatai - November 27th
Nikki Ngatai established herself as a solo singer/songwriter in 2005. In 2011, she became lead singer and guitarist with her partner Miles Gillett in a trio band called ‘Oyawa’. Nikki has supported many artists on the Island as a backing singer, most recently with Aaron Carpenter and The Revelators. Nikki will be accompanied by a Cajun percussionist and violinist during her performance at WE'AR.
